Non-standard washer
Retaining rings are classified into hole retaining rings and shaft retaining rings, and their function is to limit axial movement of other parts. They are mostly formed by stamping sheet metal. Their functional cross-section is conical and they form "line contact" after assembly. For larger models, they are formed by winding wire and cutting off excess material, resulting in a regular rectangular cross-section, which forms "surface contact" after assembly.

Details
Retaining rings are divided into hole retaining rings and shaft retaining rings. They have a positioning function and can prevent other parts from moving axially. The forming process mostly uses sheet metal stamping. The functional cross-section is conical, and after assembly, it is mostly "linear contact". Larger specifications often use wire winding to form, and the process of stamping excess material is used to create a regular rectangular cross-section, resulting in "surface contact" after assembly.
